teXTteXTer.com: a messaging aggregation service

texting texts

teXTteXTer.com or texting text is an idea to create one text service. You connect your texting services such as SMS, Whatsapp, Messenger, Skype, etc. and receive all in one. You can respond to any of those received texts with the same or a cheaper alternative if you’re connected elsewhere.

Social Bargain Hunters.

shopping running

Whenever you look for something, someone else can find it cheaper, definitely. Social Bargain Hunter is a P2P market place where people can add what they want to buy, where they will buy it. Then it gets challenged by the social bargain hunters. It’s not about the right price, it’a about the best price. A social bargain hunter looks for the best (read: cheaper) deals. The difference between the original price and the found price is shared between the publisher of the loot and the hunter who has found the best deal. A percentage is kept by the platform.

This means you can start to make money by shopping. A woman’s wet dream, no? 🙂

About this Talk

Jimmy Wales assembled “a ragtag band of volunteers,” gave them tools for collaborating, and created Wikipedia, the self-organizing, self-correcting, never-finished encyclopedia of the future. Here, he explains how the collaborative approach works, and why it succeeds. Along the way, he debunks some controversies, explains the “neutral point-of-view policy” and why it is non-debatable; and details the Wikipedia governance model: a democracy with a bit of aristocracy and some monarchy thrown in.
