Autowave: the automatic microwave.

Autowave: the automatic microwave

Today, I only checked my twitter account once and this was the tweet I saw that gave me this idea. So thanks, Annick!

The automatic microwave is a microwave oven that scans and decides what needs to happen with its content. Whether it’s a cup of hot water or a bowl of soup, uncooked potatoes or a lamb shoulder, it exactly knows what to do with it, for how long, and the result is that it comes out perfectly hot, cooked or defrosted.

All ofcourse automatically, you don’t need to push a button for that. Also when you’re in front of the autowave, it doesn’t beep.

The intelligent motor helmet.

ihelment

The intelligent motor helmet is a motorcycle helmet that has an earphone, microphone and a google glass-like visor that you can control with your voice and simple controls at the moto steering wheel. The first app i can think off is a clever GPS that boths combines itineraries planning, itineraries and speeding traps announcements. For the rest, it’s has some entertainment center functionality included (music, social media streams, …). I call it… the iHelmet. 🙂

The eyes collections art project.

The eyes collections art project

It’s been a while since I added an arts idea but it’s a long time favourite of me. I’m really intrigued by the eyes of people and by extension but those of animals. Everyone has different ones and they are always nice to dive into. My idea today is to set up a small portal to enable people to upload images of their and other eyes into and recycle them in various ways; in posters, in wall paper, in packaging, … All eyes are tagged with categories so you can make your own shuffled collections of eyes. Whether you want only gray ones, green ones or cat eyes, a mixture of exotic animals, or by locations, you create your own query and with the outcome you can order new products with these eyes collections.

Why?

  • “The best stories are told with the eyes. You just need the patience and have to be willing to listen with your heart.”
  • “The eyes are useless when the mind is blind.”
  • “The eyes are window to the soul.”
  • “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”, said by Plato.
  • “My eyes are an ocean in which my dreams are reflected.” ~Anna M. Uhlich
  • “There is more than meets the eyes.”

Collaborative brands shop.

two brands collaboration

It’s a concept shop. A collaboration between two brands in which products that are created by different brands are being sold. It can be clothing, design, electronics, … Whatever really.

E-commerce window stores.

W-commerce window stores

This idea is a very viable one. The business model is to invest in brick shops in both main shopping streets and upcoming districts and fill them with goods from e-commerce stores. The goal is to create a physical presence for small-knows e-shops, create exchange points to touch, feel and see goods. Online a portal site with these trusted e-shops will be made. It increases the trust in buying online due to the trusted certificate online and physical presence offline.

The money comes from monthly fees these e-shops pay to have a presence on the portal and in these brick and mortar shops. I actually thought about it when I was thinking about the pivoting options for ZOYOKO. But the upfront investment is way too big for me.

Zin.in iets // Idlike.to something

What to do next?

2 url’s, 1 idea. One in Dutch, one in English. It’s some kind of (bullshit) generator of what you could potentially do. It acts as an inspiration trigger to actually do something when you’re bored. You can make a clear choice based on categories or sentiment, such as outside event or music or happy or … Why not sex?

Simple to market. Easy one off scoring opportunity.

The Squatting B&B Network: Guerilla hotels.

Ruin bar

When I was younger, I always looked at punkers who were squatting buildings. I also visited some and some were quite nice. It had all the basics and the atmosphere there was unique. In Budapest you have the principle of Ruin Bars. Old, decayed buildings are transformed into community centers and bars. The best parties were to found there.

My idea today is to create a hotel network of guerrilla places to stay. You basically turn empty buildings and places into sleeping facilities with extra’s. You charge travellers for their stay and make money by offering extra services such as food, drinks and parties. Living adventurous for the B&B operators, adventurous lodging for travellers. Both will have an awesome time.

Testdrive-your-future-car.com

Test-drive your future car

TYFC.com aim is straightforward. They connect car owners with potential car buyers. Basically it’s a collection of people who own cars and act as brand ambassador for car brands. They are willing voluntarily to share a testdrive with people who is willing to buy the same type of car. When somebody buys a car after arranging a testdrive via the website, both the car buyer and car lender, are giving a gift by the car manufacturer (car brand). The platform gets paid per connection made and gets in case of successful transactions a sales commission.

Simple, cool and handy, this peer-to-peer car test-drive community.

National color monday.

national color monday

I am always amazed how many people wear black. It’s a depressing sight so I would vouch for this idea of a national color monday in which people are forbidden to come outside if they wear black. I choose a monday become it’s the most depressing day of the week by default and it is always awesome to see people wearing colorful clothes. It makes me happy when I see a couple of women walking past in bright outfits. I’m sure the same goes up for women who see men like that. Think of it as carnaval but without the costumes. Let’s make it happen!

Rope connectors.

Connecting ropes

I was a scout once. For almost 3 years but it wasn’t something I really enjoyed. However the basic to knots is something I will never forgot. My idea today is one that resolves the problem of not knowing what knot  you need when tieing knots. I would like to introduce 2 new type of ropes. Ropes with magnets at the end to be reused and ropes with superglue at the end that connect by consequence of a chemical reaction.

RxC: recycled clothing brand

recycled clothes brand

A brand that sells unique pieces of clothing by recycling fabrics and cloths of used clothes.  It reminds me of Ian Berry, the jean-iu-s who makes paintings from used jeans.

Babyphone app.

babyphone app

We don’t have a babyphone. In fact, we had one, but we never used it. And it seems like we’re the only ones. Also today, we had visitors with children that needed to take a nap in the afternoon. When sitting outside, you don’t hear them waking up so the parents are anxious as they will not hear their baby cry when it wakes up. (The bedroom is upstairs at the other side of the house).

A babyphone app would solve the inconvenience quick and easy – I install the app on one of the available smartphones around and I’ll place it in the bedroom of where the child is sleeping. The app works with and without video. The other smartphone with (receiving) app works through push & sound notifications so one get alerted when the child is awake. The parent on the other hand can check in whenever (s)he wants and check  whether everything is ok at the other end.

I can imagine the stress levels would diminish gigantic ly as the parents involved that are less unease (with the situation having fun outside while their kid sleeps elsewhere). A great advantage is that distance isn’t a limited anymore. An internet connection suffice.

Lifehack of the day: don’t use your phone before xx am.

addicted to the phone, not to life.

It’s simple. Your quality of life is diminished when using your (smart)phone prior to any other action in the morning. It screws up any routine you may have, in fact for most people it is the routine. And that’s a shame. I’m doing it for a week now. I do not touch my phone before 7am. That means I have a full hour before I get sucked in the trivia of social media and work. Yesterday, I only took my phone at 7.20am and then a second time at 8.25am. It a strange feeling. A feeling of relief.  I admit it’s hard at first. But it becomes easier by the day. I’ll try to keep this as my routine. The tea I take in the morning tastes better, watching my kids play or argue is just plain fun. I didn’t see it that clear… But now I do.

How to start with this lifehack? Easy, set yourself a time before picking up your phone in the morning and stick to it. It may beep, vibrate, moan, whatever… It definitely leads to a more qualitative life. Enjoy!

‘A life long’-documentary series about disabled people.

The concept of the documentary series ‘A life long’ is to follow all kind of people in all age ranges that have the same disability. The documentary follows them in how they handle key turning points in life. Ailurl, give e-mail wings.

ailurl - give email wings.

Ailurl solves e-mail clutter. Ailurl is a technique in that indexes e-mail and creates a unique ailurl per e-mail that you can use to refer to. It can be used privately and publicly. You can use an ailurl in individual mails or as public links to e-mail messages. You can bundle ailurls to labels or create custom list of ailurl’s so you can organise your conversations better.

When e-mails are send to teams, you get diffused answers. It happens so many times that one refers to another mail that was send. It just needs a better organisation. Ailurl works with piles where you can direct your messages to.  If the world would start using ailurl, we will not waste time using e-mail but make it more efficient. E-mail is not something of the past.

Open up e-mail. Go public. Give e-mail wings. Make your mailbox swing. With Ailurl, your email indexed.

The business model: Sell to Google.

Human Body Dryer.

human body dryer

You know that feeling when you’re leaving the swimming pool and go for the dressing room? The moment you finally have your towel and start to dry yourself. It’s not nice. You’re a bit cold, feel clam, and whenever you have children… Well, that moment lasts even longer. All of these make the swim-experience not my favorite sport (but also I’m not good a swimmer).

It would be much better experience if these moments could be anticipated with Human Body Dryers. It’s a tunnel that air-dries  your body completely on a gentle temperature. Ideally, it’s placed between the showers towards the dressing rooms. It could gain cleaning time and definitely you can diminish the amount of changing rooms.

For swim-customers, the time gained for customers is a plus and the drying experience is something like one can enjoy a jacuzzi in certain swimming temples but for free.

Stylus by MontBlanc.

Stylus By MontBlancStylus by MontBlanc would be a stylus pen, stylish and expensive. Equipped with a pen, a soft brush and a precision stylus. A great gift for business people. And a great extension of the MontBlanc writing instruments range.

Social Bargain Hunters.

shopping running

Whenever you look for something, someone else can find it cheaper, definitely. Social Bargain Hunter is a P2P market place where people can add what they want to buy, where they will buy it. Then it gets challenged by the social bargain hunters. It’s not about the right price, it’a about the best price. A social bargain hunter looks for the best (read: cheaper) deals. The difference between the original price and the found price is shared between the publisher of the loot and the hunter who has found the best deal. A percentage is kept by the platform.

This means you can start to make money by shopping. A woman’s wet dream, no? 🙂

MyByo: your biography page

the one and only

About.me was not always here. I remember ASL.to; a simple webpage service where you stated your Age, Sex and Location. Oh, and you could enrich your nickname with a pic of your dog. Nothing much changed since then… 🙂

MyByo is an attempt to create a semantic bio for yourself. A wikipedia of biographies that put owners in control of their page. It’s linked to your digital ID so you can take control of what you want people to see. It will be encourages by governments and internet services that you maintain this page yourself. When people want to refer to you in a digital context, this will use this preferred link that automatically evolves as you grow older. You will have a public MyByo and a private one. You can edit and enhance your MyByo. By connecting MyByo to other services, you can choose to update it automatically. You can also set reminders every few years to update it when you’re not so active online.

MyByo guarantees you your digital biography is always up-to-date and current. If I add the TheWriteID aspect again you can use it to create variations and personas and even keep them for personal references per era.

Battery walls exchange service.

Batteries Exchange Vending Machine

With modular systems on the rise, phones and tablets will be able to use the same parts in different brands of technology. I foresee a standardisation of batteries. And my next idea anticipates it with a technology parts sharing society;

Battery walls are vending machines with charged batteries. When you enter your old, you get a ‘new’, charged one. Every battery that gets returned gets checked on optimal life expectation. If it’s below a certain threshold, it will be recycled.

The business model works on very small subscription fees & a transaction cost. It could be placed at entrances of business parks, in office buildings, on parkings next to highways, high traffic consumer places, etc…

WeddiMeddi-ring; your health file(d) on your corpse.

WeddiMeddi Ring

Wearable stuff is what it’s all about right? The WeddiMeddi is a ring with your medical data filed on. It can be read hospitals, medics, nurses, etc. Whenever something goes wrong, the healthcare personel sector does not always have the right information about patients. In case of life and death situations, it’s not wrong to have a device in which the most pertinent information can be read out instantly.

The choice for a ring? Just like a wedding ring, it’s the only thing one will always wear. For better and for worse. 🙂

Smartphone Analytics.

smartphone analytics

If you see how addicted people are to their smartphone, it’s time to do something about it. People should be more in control but in reality they are not really. It’s not that the smartphone has to go but as with alcohol, it’s best when used moderately.

The smartphone analytics app not only monitors everything you do and how much spend on your device, it tells you exactly how much time you waste on your phone watching unnecessary reminders, starting to do stuff without actually doing something, etc. With this knowledge, Smartphone Analytics offers a paying management console in which you can amend your ‘time-consuming’ settings more easily so you are waisting less and less time on your phone. It will also alert you when you’re losing unnecessary time on your phone as it happens.

autourdumon.de: Find a travel compagnon dating service.

Travel mates

For some people it’s hard to go on holidays. They don’t like to organise it, they don’t like to look for people to travel with. Some even hate it and decide not to go on holidays anymore because the fear of going alone. Autourdumon.de is a website where you can find people to travel with.

How does it work?

  • You schedule yourself an interview on the website so you agree to the mediation dating service terms and conditions.
  • You attend your interview wherein you will be asked for your preference travel destination, travel activities, travel compagnon, and get screened a little on personal and financial health…
  • Every month you can attend organised travelspeeddatingsessions via webcam where you can meet potential travel partners.

Once there is a ‘click’, you go on holidays together. Everything regarding the trip will be taken care off within the (premium) budget you have for spending. Except packing your own luggage… 🙂

A simple support principle: don’t close tickets.

excited customers

Don’t you hate it when some customer support system automatically closes tickets without them being solved? The personal touch is gone and often people who are not helped, refuse to enter their question for a second time. The perception on customer support, your product and/or service and brand will be bad…

A simple support principle would be that you don’t close tickets yourself but ask your customer to do so. If not, (s)he will be contacted. Creating opportunities to touch base with end customers is not a buzzword. It’s simple principle whereby you create a dialogue and you will get to know numerous ways on how you can improve your product, service and brand perception. The feedback from your customers can be used to drive your business as they will be your first brand ambassadors.

At kaĂąooh, we implemented this principle, next to some other customer touch points. So far, this works great and our clients think so too. Try it for your business.

Maps of ‘friendly’ places.

Kidfriendlyplaces.org

Although most people love kids and small children, a lot of commercial places are not really suited to receive them. When we were on the road in France, we wanted to stop somewhere where we could eat, relax a bit with the children playing nearby. This idea needs a good name and a website. The website shows a google map with pinpoints of child friendly places with brief descriptions of what you can expect. Also places that are not child friendly at all are added.
Apparently, it exist small scale already 🙂

The same theme could be applied to the theme of disabled people, pets, gays, …

Telenet TV remote control app.

Telenet hotspot

I bought myself a A/V receiver of Marantz. It comes with a free but great remote control app on my iphone. I immediately fell in love with it. It’s just awesome. That’s why I was wondering why I don’t have that for my digital TV setupbox. I want it, I need it. I’m now struggling with volume buttons on two remote controls, I cannot access the video-on-demand catalogue, my router is old so I cannot use Telenet hotspots … The more I think about it, the more I found the experience they offer me is just too little. It’s not just about providing a cable, Telenet. It’s about disclosing content the way people consume TV. And that’s not only through cable and a TV set, or via smartphone or tablet in a Yelo app, but in the mix of all those… Making content easier to consume, that’s your mission, Telenet. It’s more than just marketing. So keep on doing so.

Thanks.

Your loyal customer.

Amytime.com delivers it anytime you want.

Everything you want, right now.

You want it and you want it now? With large e-shops offering pretty everything, the sales channels are open 24/7. Only the logistics lag a bit. What if… you could order instant delivery with anything you buy? The ultimate goal is to get a delivery at home within the shortest possible timespan. Amazon’s drone idea is not so bad. The business model could work with different monetising formulas; instant delivery, nightly deliveries, exact delivery, …  It could even be implemented with rates that behave like share prices on the stock exchange.

D-Rainpipes for an urban jungle.

d-rainpipes

Today, we went for a walk with friends in Ghent. When we walked through an alley, i saw a lot of drainpipes. Drainpipes are really everywhere. Why don’t they have a second use? If possible, I would invent the flowerpot drainpipe; draining water but also smart irrigation that turn them into flowerpot pipes on which flowers grow. They smell nice, they look great, they are good for the environment…. I remember living in Brussels and seeing a block of apartments with flowers making the neighbourhood so much more lively. In France they even give small villages (villages fleuris) ratings based on the use of flowers the town makes the environment nicer. This must be a good idea.

How legends are created.

League of Legends

A documentary series in which the documentary maker tells how legends are created. He reveals the real story of how communication, publications, facts,… are all brought together and how storytelling creates legends. Since media exists, legends are created. Whether these are historical sites that get too much honour in comparison with others, communication and the way it enforces itself is a weird phenomenon. Every analysed legend gives some powerful insights that can be reused for marketing purposes. Also the discrepancy between what people believe that happened and what really happened is possible a way to visualise the documentary storytelling… A legend in the making…

Search.me: Search your cloud services.

Look it up

You know that feeling that you don’t know where you’ve put something? Are your pictures partly on Picasa, Dropbox and perhaps you’ve also published some on Flickr? Or that one file, is it in mailbox X, Y, Z or on Box.net? Filter failure is a reality nowadays. It mostly happens when you don’t know where you have filed it.

Search.me is a virtualisation layer that indexes all your (private) info and makes it discoverable via a handy personal search so you can easily find your stuff back across all the cloud services you use.

Not only does it index (not copying) your content in all these places, an extra offer is made to manage your cloud services more efficiently. Using simple ‘fall over’ principes, you can use freemium models to their full potential. Just because it’s a virtualisation layer, it can bypass certain limits in freemium services by creating new accounts or cleverly combining multiple services.

Off course search.me is also freemium available… And soon will be bought by Google.

Can't find it? Doesn't exist

Freestyle Experience Travelling: Where you are going…

Freestyle Experience Travelling

The goal is simple. You have none. You just reserve a decent amount of time and off you go. You stick your thumb up and start hitchhiking. Whenever someone stops and ask you the famous question: “Where to?”, your answer is as simple as: “Where you are going, if you don’t mind.”

If they don’t mind, you jump right in and start explaining the concept. You are freestyle experience travelling and you need to stay with the same person for 8, 24 or 48 hours. Within the hour, you need to agree on the timespan you’ll be together. All the consequences of being with a person, shadowing him/her and to experience what this (wo)man experiences are is what’s freestyle experience travelling is all about. You’ll laugh, perhaps you’ll cry, you’ll learn, you’ll have a great time. Once the agreed timeframe has passed, you need to say goodbye and, wherever you may be, continue your travel.

The hitchhiker

This idea is based on my ‘Looking for Margot’ (I don’t know) experience & Valentijn‘s We Work We Play principles. It could be something for Dave Gorman to do. It could be for any adventurous traveler interested in human sciences. Let ne know if you try this out! 🙂

Deliverit.com: Deliver it with… a smile

Deliver it with a smile

Sometimes you have something that needs to get from point A to point B. Whenever you know someone is going that way, you ask to deliver it for you.

Deliverit is just the same. There are people who are going somewhere and that are willing to take something and delivers it for you. It’s a peer-to-peer courier service.

Nano pills.

nano pills

I went to a #bryo4ever event tonight and I had really nice talks with a various audience. I didn’t really brainstorm a lot but with one. The idea? Intelligent pills that tell the nurses whether a patient has taken his/her pills.

How does it work? Well, a nano sensor is added to the form of a pill. That nano sensor has two main characteristics. The first is that is programmable to be identified (you can add a pill name and dosage to it but also tell who it’s for). The second characteristic is that when the substance around is resolved and taken up by the body, the sensor sends out a signal that it has been consumed. Follow up on patients is really easy. In case you were wondering… The sensor just comes out with the next toilet visit.

Solar energy powered LED street lightning.

solar powered street lightning

A solar energy powered simple battery that loads during the day and gives LED light during the night. It’s simple and it could unload the electricity netwerk, solving the difficulties it currently has with getting all people being self-sufficient with their energy and dumping their overload onto the netwerk. To me, it seems a good idea to replace the old lamps and cables & save energy!

They could also be equipped with camera’s, wifi hotspots,…

The Protest Bible dot com.

The protest bible

From time to time you get angry with something. Most of the times you just let it pass. But when you don’t cool down, you want to organise something to express your anger. Fighting often proves to be the least effective but smart sabotage techniques on the other hand are always more interesting. The protest bible gathers stories of protest and sabotage with their results. Ranging from great historical events over syndical actions to funny household revenges. Whenever in need of a creative revenge action, you’ll definitely find inspiration here.

Organised and phased traffic streams.

traffic

The problem with traffic jams is that we all want to be in the same place at the same time… My idea of today is plain simple. We start with knowing how much cars a bottle neck (in traffic jams) can take and we calculate how many cars are going to arrive at that point. As soon as we know when that limit will be reached, no new cars will be allowed on the motorway so we avoid the traffic jam.

How? We can start simple and put traffic lights with counters at the motorway entrances and anticipate (calculate) the evolution of smooth traffic towards the bottle necks. You could then organise phased traffic releases. I can image people organising small business at the motorway entrances. As one would know when he is going to arrive at the bottle neck due to the waiting time that is displayed there, they will be more at ease. It would be quality time… 🙂 That could be done more elaborate and perfectioned if every car would send their destination to a system that calculates the best time to set of with the best route to arrive on time. Or even makes people make a little detour to make the whole traffic system run more smoothly.

I would also be more relaxed knowing that i will have a smooth ride, knowing my arrival time (and certainly when I get a coffee waiting…)

Three programmable shortcut key buttons on every keyboard.

keyboard ball

I often listen to music during work and I equally often get disturbed by my co-workers… When they do interrupt me in my work, I mute all sound in my headphone to focus on their questions (or suggestions) but I only realise much later that I didn’t pauze the music (album) I was listening to. I have to go back to the music player and guess where I left off listening to start over my listening session. Therefor, a physical ‘pauze and mute’ button in my keyboard would be awesome. Or I could just press both the pauze and mute button…

But than again… I would love the idea that every keyboard in the world has 3 white label keys that are programmable. So I want this pauze and mute shortcut? I ‘program’ it as such. Other people could have make their shortcuts do other stuff, such as ‘open facebook in chrome’ or ‘copy’ and ‘paste’ shortcuts or whatever one would want…

International disconnection day.

live offline

We went for some quality time to Antwerp last weekend. I went in a shop to get my iphone repaired but was too late to collect it back. (btw what F!@#ing shop closes at 4pm on Saturday!) By consequence I was disconnected for almost 48hours. And Sofie didn’t pack her charger.

Normally I do follow everything pretty closely but i felt really relaxed without my phone. I even had to stop people to ask what time it was. We took the time to read a magazine in a coffee bar, made walks wondering we could live in Antwerp or not. Not only can I recommend the Antwerp Nord District, I can recommend to take a disconnection day.

Why won’t we all just do this? 🙂

Choose-a-side chess.

chess pieces

I am fascinated by chess. It’s simple but brilliant. I only play it rarely. Once every few years to be more precise. But I love the board, the pieces, and i do love design variations of the chess board. The idea of today could be brought back to school when I tried it for the first time, or to my granddad who played against me when I was ill and stayed at his home, or that time in Lille where they played chess in some kind of open air hall between old books, comics and posters. We were at a coffee bar and we though it would be nice to just have a board where you could only do 1 move per coffee. But once you choose a side, you are that color. Basically, you sign up to a color and move a piece. Via chooseasidechess.com you can now follow and discuss the history of the game, but also discuss the next move that would make it win the game. But than again, only people who come in the bar, drink coffee can make a physical move on the board.

The Happy Pills & Patches; Alcohol dope. #oipd

alcohol pills

Probably not my most political correct idea per day: Pills and patches with alcohol.
Alcohol is the #1 (and legal!) hard drugs in the world. Patches could help addicted people to systematically lower their daily/hourly doses.
Alcohol pills on the other hand could be the new party hit. A pill tablet, sparkling or still, with several alcohol tastes. The only thing you need to add is water.

Happy pills parties! Wiiiii!

HouseHoldStop: The 1stopshop for all your household services. #oipd

one stop shop

The idea is e-commerce but with/for services. 1stopshop helps you in managing your contracts with (your) preferred suppliers for everything. In fact, it’s a broker service where they audit your invoices and make recommendations (once a year) so you can benefit from changed market situations without monitoring all these different areas.
To start with, you can sign up for the usual suspects of your home:

  • Electricity
  • Gas
  • Water
  • Internet
  • Telecom
  • TV

After an initial intake (250 euro?), for just 1 euro per month per invoice (supplier) you outsource to 1stopshop, you can save a multitude of the amount with just saying yes to the rational recommendations we make. 1stopshop does the market research, the negotiations… All the hassle in finding the best deals is over. 1stopshop does it better you’ll ever can.

In addition to clear monetary benefits, whenever there is trouble with a supplier, 1stopshop will mediate and help you out with a smile. Don’t waste time trying to do it yourself and get frustrated, Just log into their portal, tell them, sit back and relax. Let them take care of it. They’ll contact you when, using the means you like, when the air has been cleared.

The 1stopshop portal works a bit like Coolblue where you have 1 account that can access all the contracts per service store in which new propositions by suppliers are reported about, analysed and recommended to user profiles. You can also keep track of all these services in one handy account.

Managing your household services has never been more convenient. With HouseHoldShop you can trust making the right decisions.

It’s no coincidence that @kodel also wrote a blogpost about this with pretty much the same thinking.

With the rise of so many people eating in front for their screens, it’s a simple, yet nice idea to connect these people. Eating together is more than just sharing food, it’s the social conversations that make it a fine, enjoyable event.

So whether you are in front of your desktop, laptop, tablet, cell phone or TV, whether it is breakfast, lunch or dinner, just don’t eat alone. Chatroulette someone who’s just like you eating solely. Or join one of our table chatrooms. Talk to strangers, make new friends.

Buckle up health seat belt

Probably the thing that touches your chest most. Seem logic to me that the Scanadu Scout by Walter De Brouwer and Misha Chellam (or even Teddy the Guardian :)) types of this world start to close deals with car manufacturers to monitor our health, collect the data and anticipates in all possible ways to improve our daily health and thus lives. Connected cars, connected healthcare,… who thought these two would enforece eachother? A health checkup has never been easier.

The Cuemore.com app – avoid being clueless about what you do. #oipd

I dunno about you but sometimes i need to close down all feeds that can disturb me in order to concentrate. It happens that i get so many input triggers by all apps and programs I use that I become clueless of what I was going to do next…

cueing
I was looking for an image of queuing but this came up and I thought this was nicer anyway 😉

The Cuemore.com app wants to avoid you being clueless. It’s a queueing timer for all push notifications apps and programs send you. Whether it is on your smartphone, tablet or computer device, you can set bundle push notifications to a fixed time or later moment per app or program. It can be turned on instantly (when it happens – compared to sending a text message when you get a telephone call when you’re in a meeting) or programmed, say I want to receive e-mails only at 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17h. Or I want my game updates daily at 20h and before 2am the cuemore app shouldn’t cue anything here. Etcetera.

Whenever you decide now is a convenient time and you want to view your waiting line of push notifications, you can access the app and catch up. Organising push messages in biteable and scheduled bits should be part of your daily routine and makes your life more convenient and yourself more focused. Seeing it only when you want to see it gets you your attention back.

Could also be nice for If this then that to implement this kind of timer/scheduling options to its recipes.
